| Low noise ventilation unit with twin fans.
They are specially designed for the British market, where the law obligates that the extraction boxes have a standby fan in case of failure of the one that is operating. (Run & Standby).
In other kind of applications the fans can also work simultaneously, thus offering the total nominal flow.
The self-supporting casing is made of galvanised steel with acoustic insulating fibreglass 50 mm width.
It incorporates double inlet centrifugal fans, of high performance, equipped with directly driven external rotor motor, protected against thermal contact. The impellers are statically and dynamically balanced according to DIN/ISO 1940.
They are speed and flow regulable through our range of electronic controllers or through converter.
These units are provided by an overpressure shutter that avoids air re-circulation from a fan to the other one while operating in ‘Run&Standby.’
Our range of control with ChangeOver function allows that both fans work at the same time ensuring a balanced decline of power of both fans at the time that, in case of failure, the fan that was in standby is activated. These controllers are compatible with the speed controllers.
For BMS control (Business Management System) or PCL we incorporate an interface that permits all the functions to be carried out from an external digital control.
To make the installation easier we offer a wide range of accessories: Shutters, grills, flexible gaskets, circular and rectangular hoppers, dampers, duct silencers, electrical heating, filtration modules and other special accessories under request.
CONTROLLER
The CM-2 is a controller designed for ventilation installations which, the lack of air can cause an important problem.
The system is based on the use of two fans; one of them is operating while the other one is on standby (A and B). It works by detecting electric current or the air flow that the motor produces while working.
If one motor fails a signal goes to the controller, to turn on the reserve motor.
With the aim of balancing the decline of power of both motors, the option exists for making them work in alternate mode on cycles of the same duration, from four minutes to 24 hours.
The option also exists for making them work with no cycle; if after checking the motor A for 30 seconds, and this one works correctly, it automatically changes to B and remains in this state permanently.
The system has status indicators on the control panel and it also has a failure output indicator (optional on the model CM2-1) to indicate the failure of one of the motors, both, or the lack of tension on that part, through insulated relay contacts.
